Council is responsible for the strategic direction for the municipality. Policies and procedures are developed, and certain responsibilities are delegated to the Chief Executive and four Directors, which form the Executive Management Team. Manningham’s unique natural environment provides a sanctuary to 56 threatened animal species and is home to 22% of Victoria’s known plants, including 11 species of State significance and four species of national significance.
